EZEL, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky State Police have made an arrest in the hit-and-run deaths of two pedestrians in eastern Kentucky.
WKYT-TV (http://bit.ly/1dN3kVz) reports police charged 30-year-old Tony Kegley Jr. on Tuesday night with two counts of manslaughter, leaving the scene of an accident and tampering with evidence.
Police said Kegley owns a vehicle matching the description of one seen at the site of the accident Saturday in Morgan County that killed 41-year-old Elizabeth Thornsberry of Ezel and 48-year-old Tony Ross of Clearfield. Police had been looking for a blue GMC Sierra 1500 model with damage to the left front.
Police said they received an anonymous tip on Facebook that led them to Kegley, who is being held at the Big Sandy Detention Center.
