EUBANK, Ky. (AP) — Two people have died after a home in central Kentucky caught fire.
Media report the blaze at the residence in Eubank was reported shortly before 11 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Lincoln County coroner says a man was pronounced dead when crews arrived, and his wife died later at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. The couple's granddaughter was taken to the hospital for treatment, but appeared to be good condition. He did not release the names of those involved.
Firefighters say they think the blaze began in the living room and spread to the attic. They are still investigating to find the cause.
