Lennie Jaggers, 82, of Mammoth Cave passed away at 12:12 AM Dec. 26, 2013 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Edmonson County native was a retired Gates Rubber Co. employee and a son of the late Leo Jaggers and Ida Poteet Jaggers. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Whitney Sanders and a brother, Claydean Jaggers.
Funeral will be at 11:00 AM Sunday at Cove Hollow United Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 4-9 PM Friday, 9 AM-9 PM Saturday and after 9 AM Sunday at Gravil Funeral Home.
Surviving are his wife, Donnie Carnes Jaggers; a son, Gary Jaggers of Beaver Dam; four daughters, Dena Burris (Roger) and Debbie Sanders (Sam) both of Mammoth Cave, Vickie Alvey of Smiths Grove and Charlotte Stice (Mike) of Brownsville; three brothers, Albert Jaggers and Dennie Jaggers (Shirley) both of Mammoth Cave and Thomas Jaggers (Judy) of Louisville; three sisters, Clorine Slaughter (Stu) and Sue Carnes (Colin) both of Mammoth Cave and Betty Ellis of Brownsville; a sister-in-law, Gwen Jaggers of Mammoth Cave; 11 grandchildren, Melissa Layman, Tiffany Hatfield, Tabitha Dalrymple, Bradley Jaggers, Megan Coates, Lee Jaggers, Allison Alvey, Aaron Jaggers, Ethan Stice, Maddie Stice and Adian Jaggers; and six great grandchildren.
