On Monday afternoon at around 4:30, the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested 66-year old Robert L. Dilks Jr. on charges related to child sexual exploitation.
Dilks was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation that began in Arizona, and is charged with 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.
Authorities in Arizona took over an online account belonging to another individual who was arrested on charges related to child pornography. Investigators then utilized the account to locate others who were trading images that contained child sexual exploitation.
The investigation led to Dilks' residence on Graham Avenue in Radcliff.
KSP seized electronic equipment from Dilks' residence, with the seized items pending a full forensic examination. Additional charges are expected.
