4-H Camp is just around the corner! Grayson County will be camping May 27-30. While youth will still be in school that week, we are working with the schools and have the support of school administration for the students to attend camp that week. 4-H Camp provides youth with untraditional educational activities, from outdoor classrooms, to skills building, teambuilding, and learning social living skills that are all adaptable in everyday life and throughout adulthood. 4-H Camp is a treasure that carries through the heart and adults who attended as campers have a true passion for it.
We encourage you to sign up for 2014 4-H Camp May 27-30. Cost for camp this year is $170, scholarships are available to apply for, and the deadline for scholarship applications has been extended through April 30. Deadline to sign up for camp is May 2. Don’t miss your chance! Come by the Extension Office at 123 Commerce Drive in Leitchfield, download camp forms at graysonext.org, or call the Extension Office for more information at 270-259-3492.
