The Edmonson County native attended Sunfish High School, where she was a cheerleader, and was a member of the first graduating class of Edmonson County High School. She was a retired quality control manager at Bowling Green Wal-Mart, a former head LPN at Louisville Baptist Hospital, an advocate for the Children's Miracle Network, an honorary Kentucky Colonel and a member of Asphalt Church of Christ. She was the daughter of the late Wayne Alford and Novice Raymer Alford and the step daughter of the late Berthel Alford.
Funeral will be at 2 PM Monday at Greenwood Park Church of Christ in Bowling Green. Visitation will be 2-7 PM Sunday at Gravil Funeral Home and after 11 AM Monday at the church. Entombment will take place at New Liberty Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Danny Demunbrun; three daughters, Twyla Johnson (Don), Tana Hunt (Richard) and Mindy Savor (Will) all of Bowling Green; two brothers, Buddy Alford (Judy) and David Alford (Judy) both of Brownsville; a step sister, Kay Gordon of Bowling Green; seven grandchildren, Chelsea Watson, Cameron Johnson, Ian Hunt, Izzy Hunt, Ivy Hunt, Elijah Mansfield and Emma Mansfield; and a great grandchild, Wyatt Watson.
