Severe weather outbreak possible in area

From the Weather Channel and National Weather Service – There is the chance for a severe thunderstorm and tornado outbreak throughout the state of Kentucky today and tomorrow. Locations from the deep South to the Ohio Valley are included in an area likely to receive extreme weather over the next 48 hours.

Some of the major cities which could experience severe weather over the next two days are Atlanta, Nashville, Birmingham, and Louisville.

Damaging wind gusts, large hail and tornadoes are possible. In addition, heavy rainfall could trigger flash flooding.
