K105 offers comprehensive election coverage

Tuesday’s Kentucky primary election will feature a fairly long ballot, with hundreds of offices up for grabs this year, and thousands of candidates running for them.
Kentucky’s  Secretary of State's office reminds everyone that polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time. If one is in line at 6:00, one will be allowed to vote.
Everyone is urged to have a valid ID with them. It can be not only your driver's license, but an original social security card, credit card, or other form that has both your picture and signature on it.

Locally, we have several important races to vote on and follow, including but not limited to; incumbent Tim Moore going up against Steve Meredith for the 18th District’s State Representative seat; Buck Meredith squares off against Norman Chaffins to determine who takes on Democrat Keith Escue for the Grayson County Sheriff’s job; and Jason Woosley, Shaun Campbell and Fairley Williams battle for the Grayson County Jailer’s post.
Stay tuned to K105 for your complete election coverage, as Mark Buckles and Barry Cannon will be on air from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 with all election results as they happen.
K105’s Facebook page will also update election results throughout the evening.
