Kentucky State Police Troopers worked a three-vehicle fatal accident on Southbound I-65 at the 85 mile marker on Sunday. The accident occurred at approximately 12:20 p.m., just south of the Glendale exit.

Miranda Flowers struck the rear of the Expedition driven by causing her to overturn. Gerald Flowers Jr., who was also trying to avoid the vehicle, swerved right and struck the motorcycle driven by his wife. He was then ejected from the motorcycle he was operating.
Miranda Flowers was pronounced dead on the scene by the Hardin County Coroner. Gerald Flowers Jr. was airlifted to UofL Hospital and is listed in critical condition. Angela Mitchell was uninjured.
