7 indicted, arrested for drug trafficking, more arrests to come say police



In a cooperative effort, the Leitchfield Police Department and the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task force conducted narcotics investigations over a span of many months which has led to the arrests of several local suspects. These arrests were made after indictments were handed down from the Grayson County Circuit Court for numerous charges ranging from drug trafficking, to possession of a controlled substances or drug paraphernalia.
 
Indicted and arrested were: 
 
  • Cassandra J. Miller, 36, of Leitchfield, was arrested on an indictment warrant for two counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance in the 1st Degree (Morphine).  Miller was also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in an unrelated case. 
  • John T. McGuffin, 39, of Morgantown, was arrested on an indictment warrant for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), as well as being a Persistent Felony Offender. 
  • Kimberly K. Holderman, 48, of Clarkson, was arrested on an indictment warrant for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree (Hydrocodone). 
  • Bobby J. Skaggs, 34, of Munfordville, was arrested on an indictment warrant for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), as well as being a Persistent Felony Offender.  Skaggs was additionally arrested on a second indictment for Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 
  • Acey Meredith, 26, of Leitchfield, was arrested on an indictment warrant for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Morphine). 
  • Chad A. Clemons, 23, of Clarkson, was indicted for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), as well as being a Persistent Felony Offender.  Clemons was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center at the time the indictments were handed down.
  • Brandy J. Lee, 33, of Leitchfield, was arrested on an indictment warrant for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degreee (Morphine), and Trafficking in a Simulated Substance.

LPD and the Task Force have several drug cases currently being investigated, with numerous arrests expected in the near future. 
 
The Leitchfield Police Department and the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force were assisted in locating and serving arrest warrants by the Kentucky State Police, Grayson County Sheriff's Department, Clarkson Police Department, and the Hart County Sheriff's Department.
