Dayna Kay Baker, age 53, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (August 13, 2014) at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY along with her fiancé John Marshall.
She was born on May 17, 1961 in Davenport, OH, the daughter of Charles and Shirley Embry Knight.
She was a front desk clerk at Rough River State Park, who enjoyed traveling, motorcycling, crocheting and hiking to waterfalls and she was a member of the Clarkson Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children, Rachel White (Chris), Daniel Baker and Claira Baker all of Leitchfield, a granddaughter, Addison White along with her future granddaughter, Jaylynn White, her mother, Shirley Crawford of Leitchfield, two brothers, Steve Knight (Gina) of Lexington KY, and David Knight (Cindy) of Lebanon, TN and a sister, LuAnne Stanley (Mitch) of Ohio. Also surviving is the father of her children, Larry Baker of Leitchfield.
She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Knight.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, (August 16, 2014) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
