The Louisville man accused of shooting and killing two people at a Jeffersontown Kroger store has been indicted on multiple charges.

Gregory A. Bush, 51, was indicted by a Jefferson County Grand Jury on two counts of murder, attempted murder and two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.

A federal prosecutor said federal investigators are working to determine if there were any violations of federal law, primarily civil rights violations, in the shooting. Bush is white and the two victims, Maurice Stallard, 69, and Vicki Lee Jones, 67, were black.

Before Bush’s shooting rampage at the Kroger store began, he attempted to gain access to a predominantly black church in Jeffersontown, and media reports indicate he made racially charged comments during the shooting.

Bush is being held in Louisville Metro Corrections on a $5 million bond.
