The Grayson County High School Football Alumni Association is joining the Cougar football team to tackle hunger.

At Friday’s home football game against Breckinridge County, the Grayson County High School FAA Class of 1983 will kick off a food drive to benefit the Grayson County Alliance

Canned goods will be accepted in the parking lot at the game, or, people can drop off canned goods any time during business hours at the following locations throughout September: Bluegrass Title Company, Cash Connection, Farmers Feed Mill, The Storehouse Coffee & Gifts, and Tammy’s Play School.

Organizers ask that everyone donating to designate the year you graduated high school on the bottom of the can to show your class pride.

Financial donations are also being accepted and can be made  through a secured link: https://gc-alliance.com/donate

Grayson County Alliance serves thousands of local low income families, seniors and students every month by distributing USDA Commodities as well as purchased and donated food.

The alliance is led by Executive Director Debbie Childress.
