A Leitchfield man has been killed in collision with a Clarkson man in Hart County.
According to Kentucky State Police, troopers responded to the accident in the 1200 block of Cub Run Highway, just west of Munfordville, Monday afternoon at approximately 12:30.
KSP said the preliminary investigation indicates that 24 year-old Johnny W. Moran III, of Leitchfield, was driving a 2014 Volkswagen Passat south when he crossed the center line and struck head-on a northbound 2000 Freightliner semi-truck, being driven by 64-year-old-Bennie Sims, of Clarkson.
Moran was transported by to The Medical Center at Caverna where he was pronounced dead.
Sims was uninjured.
The investigation is ongoing and being led by Trooper Bo Hubbard.
