Redneck Rave results in nine arrests, several minor infractions

The 2022 edition of the Redneck Rave held at Blue Holler Off-Road Park in Edmonson County resulted in nine arrests and six citations issued during the two-day event held on Friday and Saturday.

“Traffic safety checkpoints were conducted on Nolin Dam Road, which resulted in numerous citations and arrests,” according to the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office. “There were also three arrests on Ollie Road in connection with traffic from the rave and one juvenile cited.”

Most serious arrests related to the Redneck Rave:

Robert E. Bandy 35, of Williamstown, was arrested on Ollie Road and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), DUI, driving on a suspended/revoked driver’s license, careless driving, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle, and possession of marijuana (Bandy had a 12-year-old passenger in the vehicle).

Stacy Neff, 46, of Burbon, Indiana was arrested at a traffic safety checkpoint and charged with DUI, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kaleb Kincaid, 28, of Cardington, Ohio was arrested Nolin Dam Road while driving an ATV and charged with DUI and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle. His passenger, Sierra Hess, 28, of Leitchfield, was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place (her second such offense).

Bryton Brown, 23, of Monrovia, Indiana, was arrested on Ollie Road and charged with DUI (excluding alcohol), possession of marijuana (firearm enhancement), possession of drug paraphernalia, improper use of red lights and careless driving. A passenger, Stephanie Lawson, of Brownsburg, Indiana, was charged with public intoxication (excluding alcohol), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Rosalino Cortes Zarate, 31, of Portland, Tennessee was arrested at a traffic safety checkpoint and charged with DUI and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle.

Multiple other suspects were charged and cited with comparably minor infractions.
