A Hardin County woman has been jailed for producing child porn involving a small child.
The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Brittany D. Jameson, of Cecilia, on Monday and charged her with promoting a minor (under the age of 16) in a sexual performance, a class B felony punishable by 10 to 20 years in prison.
According to the arrest citation, Jameson “produced, directed and promoted a performance which included a sexual act” by a seven-year-old child. Jameson, the citation states, “confessed to photographing herself performing” the sex act on the child.
She committed the act “for the purposes of obtaining money through a media platform by selling said photos,” according to the citation.
Jameson is lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center on a $10,000 cash bond.
