Multiple fire departments battled a residential fire on Sipes School Road on Sunday.
Sunday morning at approximately 9:20, the Caneyville, Falls of Rough and Leitchfield Fire Departments, along with the Rosine Fire Department and EMS, responded to a structure fire in the 1400 block of Sipes School Road.
Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters found the large home fully engulfed in flames, with a nearby cabin and outbuilding in danger of also catching fire. Firefighters, while battling the house fire, sprayed both nearby structures in an effort to keep them cool.
The home, though, was a total loss. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is unclear.
