Larry Dee Logsdon, age 67, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (March 24, 2023) at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes in Leitchfield, KY. He was born on July 15, 1955 in Grayson County, KY the son of the late Aud and Odline Powell Logsdon.

He was an operating engineer who owned and operated Larry Logsdon Concrete Pumping.
Larry was an antiquer who loved attending, and being a part of, auctions. When he wasn’t
trading or collecting, you could find Larry watching his children and grandchildren play ball.

He was a family man who enjoyed a good meal and was famous for his honey butter. He never
saw a parade he didn’t want to be in and making sure everyone was taken care of was his
mission- with “You need anything?” being the phrase that you never failed to hear if you were
around him for just a few minutes. Larry was a member of the Claggett United Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Logsdon; three sons, Shaun Logsdon (Kelly) of
Mt.Washington, Craig Logsdon (Adrianne) of Leitchfield and Bryan Logsdon (Angie) of
Leitchfield; one daughter, Elissa Hudson (Dalton) also of Leitchfield; seventeen grandchildren,
Isabelle, Reagan, Sayge, Wyatt, Bailey, Jack, Ross, Collin, Lucy, Austin, Emma, Grant,
Wrangler, Lexie, Zoey, Lucas and Willow; three great-grandchildren, Ace, Ava, and Lakelyn;
twin brother, Gary Logsdon and a brother, Jimmy Logsdon; three sisters, Alma Dale Tomes,
Barbara Mahurin and Sue Edwards. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Logsdon and Jeraldine
Logsdon; a brother, Herchell “Toe” Logsdon; and a niece Sharon Tomes England.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, (March 28, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home
in Leitchfield. Bro. Christopher Edwards will be officiating. Burial will be in the Logsdon Family Cemetery on Owensboro Road in Leitchfield.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and
from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
