Grayson County track and field team runs strong in Senior Night meet

The Grayson County track and field team closed the home portion of their regular season late last week with a home meet.

GCHS was joined by Central Hardin, Breckinridge County, and Hancock County.

The Cougar boys won their portion of the meet with the Lady Cougars finishing in second place overall.

Individual winners included Jackson Crume (1600m), the girls 4x100m dash (Henderson, Hayes, Cruz-Gil, Keown), Alexis Henderson (300m hurdles), Crume (800m dash), Houston Brooks (3200m run), girls and boys 4x400m relay, Amelia Hayes (pole vault), and Zach Pierce (pole vault).

Before the meet, the team recognized their seniors. See the pictures from the ceremony below.

Grayson County will compete in the Lincoln Trail Conference meet on Tuesday evening at Thomas Nelson.
