Leitchfield Utilities will shut off water service to several residences in the heart of Leitchfield to repair a main water valve.
Water will be shut off at 4:00 a.m. Saturday morning and a Boil Water Advisory will be in effect when water is restored.
Utilities officials recommend boiling water at a rolling boil for three minutes before drinking and using in cooking.
The streets affected by the shut-off and boil water advisory are all of Commanche Way and Sequoia Drive from Commanche Way to Mill Street.
