Grayson Co. man recently arrested twice for impersonating police officer & assault, collared again for breaking into business

A Grayson County man arrested less than two weeks ago for assaulting a man and impersonating a police officer has been jailed on a burglary charge.

Zachary Behlke, 21, of Caneyville, was arrested by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office on Monday and charged with third-degree burglary and first-degree criminal mischief.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office said Behlke “shattered the front glass door to gain entry into the building. Once inside, the subject intentionally damaged a surveillance system monitor.”

Police did not reveal what building Behlke broke into.

He was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.

As K105 reported, Behlke was arrested on May 18, 2026, in Grayson County on the strength of a complaint warrant charging the suspect with impersonating a police officer, third-degree terroristic threatening and fourth-degree assault.

The complaint warrant claims Behlke “intentionally hit a man in the back of the head with a closed fist. He then threaten(ed) to shoot the man and identified himself as a Bowling Green police officer.”

According to online records, Behlke was arrested in Warren County on February 23, 2026, for impersonating a police officer, improper use of blue lights, improper use of red lights, felony wanton endangerment, speeding 26 mph or more over the limit, and reckless driving.

He was also arrested in Grayson County in March 2025 and charged with third-degree terroristic threatening.
