The Kentucky Treasurer’s Office is hosting an Unclaimed Property Roadshow in Grayson County.

Kentucky State Treasurer Mark H. Metcalf’s Communication Director Jordyn Pennington said the event will assist citizens claim property, including payroll checks, safety deposit boxes, old life insurance policies, stocks, and vendor checks that have remained unclaimed by their owners after several years.

The Kentucky State Treasury’s Unclaimed Property Roadshow will be held on Friday from 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the County Government Building at 130 East Market Street in Leitchfield.

“Since taking office in January 2024, Treasurer Metcalf’s administration has returned more than $100 million in unclaimed property to Kentuckians through expanded outreach efforts and community events across the commonwealth. The Treasurer’s Office is continuing those efforts with a stop in Grayson County, where residents can receive assistance searching for unclaimed property and begin the claims process,” the Kentucky Treasurer’s Office said.
