A man has been killed in a crossover crash in Casey County.
Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the accident on Sunday afternoon at approximately 3:00 on Hwy 70 near Pruitt Lane, about 10 miles east of Liberty.
The KSP investigation revealed that 69-year-old Ronnie Lee, of Liberty, was traveling east on Hwy 70 in a 2000 Mazda pickup.
The Mazda crossed the center line and into the path of a westbound 2007 Chevrolet Silverado, being driven by 38-year-old Christina Baker, of Waynesburg. The vehicles collided head-on, as the Chevrolet overturned in a ditch, according to KSP.
Lee was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Casey County Coroner’s Office.
Baker, along with an adult passenger and three juvenile passengers, was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Sr. Trooper Trevor Sagrecy is leading the investigation.
