An Edmonson County man has died after hitting a tree.
Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the single-vehicle crash on Tuesday night at approximately 7:00 in the 3800 block of Segal Road, about four miles south of Windyville.
The KSP investigation showed that a Chevrolet passenger car, being driven by 65-year-old Minor T. Kinser, of Brownsville, left the roadway and struck a tree. The vehicle then caught fire, according to state police.
Kinser was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Edmonson County Coroner’s Office.
The ongoing investigation is being led by Trooper Grant Robertson.
