Grayson County High School’s Breigh Jones has received an offer to play college basketball at Midway.
Jones led the Lady Cougars in scoring last season, averaging 17.8 points per game while pulling down 3.6 rebounds per game. Her year was cut short following a knee injury in early February.
She still was named first team All-3rd Region by the region media and All-State by both the Louisville Courier Journal and the Lexington Herald-Leader.

Midway is coached by Grayson County alum Kylee Gorby, who will be entering her fourth season with the Eagles.
Gorby also starred on the hardwood for the Lady Cougars from 2008, when she was an eighth grader, through 2012, scoring over 1,000 points in her career. She was named First Team All-Region in 2012 and First Team All-District in both 2011 and 2012.
Midway had seven players on their roster last season who suited up for schools in the 3rd Region.
