A Cave City man who recently suffered a stroke has been missing for over a week.
John F. Adwell, 61, was last seen on foot on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at approximately 2:30 p.m. in Cave City, according to the Cave City Police Department.
Adwell’s walker was found at 1st Street and Gillenwater Street in Cave City.
Adwell stands five feet, nine inches tall and weighs about 182 pounds, police said. He has gray hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black shirt, gray shoes, and a red baseball cap.
He has full sleeve tattoos on both arms.
WNKY.com reports that Adwell’s family told the new outlet that Adwell suffered a stroke recently, which has altered his mental status.
