Grayson County High School Cougars boys basketball coach Kelly Carwile has resigned his position to take a job at Hopkinsville High School. It’s unclear at this point the exact position Carwile was hired for at Hopkinsville.
Attempts to reach GCHS athletic director Josh Basham for this article were unsuccessful.
Carwile led the Cougars for three seasons, posting an 18-11 mark his first year on the sideline, as GCHS won the 12th District title. The Cougars went 25-33 in Carwile’s final two years, giving him a three year record of 43-44.
