Friday night at about 7:30, the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 8500 block of Brandenburg Road, about 100 yards from the Eveleigh Boat Ramp, on the report of a single-car accident.
Upon arriving at the scene, Deputy Dylan Bohn found that a Dodge Caravan, traveling south on Brandenburg Road, had left the roadway in a curve and spun on a hillside before coming to rest facing Brandenburg Road.
After a short investigation, Bohn determined that the driver, 27-year-old Mitchell McGloin, was driving while intoxicated.
McGloin, whose driver’s license indicated he’s from Ohio, told Dep. Bohn that he lived in Clarkson.
He was arrested and lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center on a DUI charge.
