Ohio County ambulance involved in collision as it traveled to ’emergency call’

On Tuesday morning, Kentucky State Police responded to a two vehicle collision on Hwy 69 at Goshen Road, just outside of Hartford.

Upon arriving at the scene, police determined that 44-year-old Consuello Norton, of Cromwell, was driving a Ford F350 ambulance as she responded to an “emergency call” on Hwy 69. Police said 38-year-old Jerry Clark, of Beaver Dam, was traveling in a dump truck on Hwy 69, and attempted to make a left turn onto Goshen Road where he turned into the path of the ambulance.

The dump truck and ambulance collided on each vehicle’s driver’s side.

Clark was transported to Ohio County Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Norton and ambulance worker, 30-year-old Hillary Gather, of Beaver Dam, were not injured.
