Friday and Saturday at the Clarkson Honeyfest

The 23rd annual Clarkson Honeyfest continues Friday with Bed Turning taking place at Sew Much at 10:00 Friday, and again at 2:00.

There will be a silent auction at the old city hall from 5:30 until 7:30, with the Honeyfest Hat Contest beginning at 6:00. Shotgun Serenade, a big hit at last year’s Honeyfest, will be on stage at 6:30.

The Midway opens at 4:00 and armbands cost $15.

Food vendor booths open at 5:00.

On Saturday morning, the 15 to 30 Mile Bike Ride will start at 6:45, with Craft Booths opening at 8:00.

At 9:00, the Clarkson Honeyfest Parade will begin.

After the parade, there will be a Car and Tractor Show at Clarkson Elementary School, and a Tae-kwon-do Martial Arts Demonstration will take place at the Bank of Clarkson parking lot. A Karaoke Contest begins at noon.

There will be a Dinner and Silent Auction held at St. Elizabeth Church, and a Fallin-for-the-Arts event will be held at My Father’s House on East Main Street.

At 2:00, a Pedal Tractor Pull will take place in the Bank of Clarkson parking lot.

From 5:00 until 7:00, Down on Filth will take the stage, followed by local favorite Graffitti Layne, who provides live music from 7:00 until 11:00.

Hayrides will be offered by the Clarkson Fire Department each night.
