Two men steal Dodge Challenger and Charger from Swope dealership in Elizabethtown

The Elizabethtown Police Department said that on Sunday morning at approximately 5:00, two suspects broke into the Swope Chrysler/Dodge dealership located at 1012 North Dixie Avenue.

Surveillance video captured a black or possibly bi-racial male suspect, wearing a white hoodie, gloves and armed with a crowbar approaching the building. The suspect used the crowbar to break out a window to the building and made entry, according to police.

The suspect then located a key box, and grabbed an unknown number of vehicle keys.

A second suspect was later captured by surveillance, also inside the building. Police said this black or possibly bi-racial male suspect was wearing a light-colored Kansas City Chiefs hoodie and shorts.

The two suspects stole two vehicles, a 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT and a blue 2008 Dodge Charger SRT Daytona.

The investigation is ongoing, and there are no suspects at this time.
