Eight indicted by Grayson County Grand Jury on most drug-related charges

The Grayson County Grand Jury recently returned indictments against eight defendants on mostly drug-related crimes.

Those indicted include:

Donna J. Lucas, 52, of Leitchfield: Trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Lucas was given a $10,000 bond (10 percent cash).

Christopher D. Johnson, 35, of Leitchfield: Possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (phentermine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was given a $10,000 bond (10 percent cash).

Ronald L. Haycraft, 45, of Louisville: Possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Haycraft was given a $10,000 bond.

Kyle Hardin, 26, of Brownsville: Assault of a police officer, fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest, and being a persistent felony offender.

No bond information was available for Hardin.

Susan Clemson, 59, of Clarkson: Cultivation of marijuana (five or more plants).

Clemons was given a $10,000 bond (10 percent cash).

Jake W. Embry, 45, of Leitchfield: Possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

No bond information was available for Embry.

David J. Smith, 36, of Leitchfield: Possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

No bond information was available for Smith.

Andrew W. Wright, 27, of Leitchfield: Tampering with physical evidence, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wright was given a $10,000 surety bond.
