Due to a water main break, Leitchfield Utilities has issued a boil water advisory for a section of Leitchfield.
Leitchfield Utilities advises customers who live on North Clinton Street, from the Breck/Grayson Head Start, to Mill Street, to boil their drinking water until further notice. Officials said water should be boiled for three minutes at a rolling boil before drinking.
The utility has started taking samples for testing, and will alert customers with those results as soon as they are available.
