On Thursday morning, Hart County Sheriff Boston Hensley, with assistance from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, arrested a Sonora man wanted on multiple felony charges, including burglary and kidnapping.
According to the Hart County Sheriff’s Office, authorities arrested 45-year-old Jeremy Smith at his residence in Hardin County. While police did not elaborate on the crimes Smith allegedly committed, he was charged in two warrants with first-degree burglary, kidnapping (adult), violating an EPO/DVO, and criminal trespassing.
The arrest warrants originated out of Hart District Court.
He was lodged in the Hart County Jail.
