U.S. Marshals arrest Elizabethtown murder suspect

The Elizabethtown Police Department has announced the capture of a murder suspect accused of shooting and killing a 20-year-old man at a Super Bowl party.

Police said 29-year-old Charles Roberson Jr., of Elizabethtown, was arrested on Wednesday just outside of Elizabethtown by the U.S. Marshals Service.

Roberson is accused of shooting and killing Xedric McNeill, of Elizabethtown, who was found shot to death outside of an apartment complex on Diecks Drive on Sunday.

Roberson was charged with murder and wanton endangerment and lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center on a $500,000 bond.

Police have not released a motive for the murder.
