Before heading to Montgomery, Alabama over the Spring Break recess, the Cougar tennis teams traveled to Owensboro last Friday, where they earned a pair of wins over the Daviess County Panthers.

The Cougar women took their match 6-3 over the Lady Panthers, while the Cougar men shutout Daviess County 9-0.

As she has for the past several years, Cougar coach Sherry Vincent is taking her teams on a trip over the break to participate in tennis camps looking for improvement from her teams.

“We’ll travel to Montgomery where we will work to improve stroke mechanics and do a lot of repetition drills,” Vincent said. “The purpose is to strengthen individual weapons and grow as a team. The focus will be on team goals.”
