On Saturday, the Butler County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Brownsville Road after a vehicle failed to come to a complete stop at a stop sign.

Upon making contact with the occupants, police found that Jerry St. Clair had a warrant for his arrest. He was detained and searched with police finding $500 cash on the suspect.

The owner of the car, Tayann McKenna, granted permission for police to search the vehicle, where authorities located methamphetamine, synthetic marijuana, a .25 caliber handgun, marijuana, and a significant amount of cash.

Sydnee Cameron, another occupant, was found to have methamphetamine and $3,000 in cash in her purse. Steven Cardwell, who was driving the car, was driving on a suspended license.

All four suspects were arrested, with St. Clair, Cardwell and Cameron being charged with possession of a controlled substance (meth), trafficking in synthetic drugs, trafficking in marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. McKenna was charged with trafficking in synthetic drugs, trafficking in marijuana, and possession drug paraphernalia.

All four are lodged in the Butler County Jail.
