The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said a crew will perform a detailed inspection of a Breckinridge County bridge on McCoy Roff Road on Thursday.
Work on the bridge, which spans Rough River, will require intermittent closure throughout the day, according to cabinet spokesman Chris Jessie.
Jessie added that the bridge width will not allow inspectors to have equipment on the deck and still accommodate an open lane, resulting in full closure of the bridge taking place in approximately 30 minutes intervals. Inspection operations will be completed in one day.
This is a scheduled inspection, and there are no known issues with the bridge, according to Jessie.
