Man who refused to leave Glendale motel arrested with stolen vehicle, drugs

Thursday morning at approximately 11:40, Kentucky State Police responded to a disturbance at the Glendale Economy Inn on the report of a man refusing to leave his room.

Upon police arriving, authorities made contact with 34-year-old Sidney Wallett, of Vine Grove. Police entered the room and located marijuana and drug paraphernalia before discovering the man was driving a vehicle reported stolen out of Warren County.

Wallett was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property (under $10,000), trafficking in marijuana, criminal trespassing, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center.
