Clarkson and Leitchfield police collaborate to nab fugitive

A man wanted by the Clarkson Police Department has been arrested in Leitchfield.

After receiving a tip on the fugitive’s location, Clarkson Police Officer Rick Clemons, along with Leitchfield Police Officers Jeff Helvey, Greg Whobrey, Capt. Brandon Cook, and Ordinance Officer David Riley, arrested 22-year-old Troy Blair, of Clarkson, at a residence in Leitchfield. He was taken into custody without incident.

Blair was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and fleeing or evading police (from an earlier incident in Leitchfield). He was also served with a parole violation warrant.

Blair was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
