Wednesday morning at 10:15, Kentucky State Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Hwy 31-E, in Hart County, near the Green River Bridge.
Police said the initial preliminary investigation indicated that 40-year-old Crystal Stines, of Greensburg, was driving a Ford passenger car south on Hwy 31-E when she crossed the center line and into the path of a northbound Toyota Prius, being driven by 58-year-old Sally Howlett, of Grove City, Ohio.
State police said both drivers suffered multiple injuries, with one driver being transported to a hospital via EMS while the other driver was airlifted from the scene.
