Elizabethtown police are looking for a man described as a serial residential burglar after a recent rash of burglaries in Lakewood subdivision, in the northern part of the city.

Earlier this month, the Elizabethtown Police Department launched a task force to investigate the burglary spree. On Wednesday, authorities announced that 27-year-old Dominick McKnight has been identified as the primary suspect. Authorities added that McKnight is on probation and “has a warrant for his arrest issued through probation and parole for absconding on a felony charge.”

Police said they could not confirm McKnight is armed, but that he is considered dangerous.

The suspect is described as being 5-foot-6 tall and weighing 160 pounds. He wears his hair in a dreadlock style.

Anyone with information on McKnight’s whereabouts is asked to contact Hardin County Crimestoppers at 1-800-597-8123.
