
Lucille Whobrey Riggs, age 72, of Hodgenville, a native of Clarkson, passed away, Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
She was a retired supervisor for Nationwide Uniform Company and a member of Lincoln Memorial Baptist Church.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence “Larry” Riggs in 2006; her parents. John and Ruby Miller Whobrey; two sisters, Corine Workman and Aline Bivens and a son-in-law, Eddie Payton.
She is survived by a daughter, Carla Payton of Hodgenville; two brothers, Eugene (Florence) Whobery of Clarkson and Charles (Janice) Whobery of Caneyville; two grandsons, Brandon (Emily) Payton and Joey Payton all of Hodgenville and two great-grandsons, Case and Creed.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville, Rev. Joe Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in Lincoln Memorial Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3 to 8 PM Monday and after 9 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
