The Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force has arrested a Hardin County man who had methamphetamine packaged and ready to be sold.

On Monday afternoon, the task force arrested 54-year-old Kevin Salmon, of Vine Grove, after a search warrant executed at the suspect’s home revealed several bags of methamphetamine in a bedroom. Bags of marijuana were also located in the home.

Additionally, police found items used to make methamphetamine, including Coleman fuel, liquid fire, lye, acetone, muriatic acid, funnels, tubing and meth oil, according to the News-Enterprise.

Salmon was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine, his second offense), manufacturing methamphetamine, trafficking in marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He is being held in the Hardin County Detention Center on a $75,000 bond.

According to the Vine Grove Police Department, Salmon was previously arrested in September 2013 after being found with methamphetamine, pills and marijuana in his Vine Grove home.
