Covington police are investigating after a nine-month-old baby was revived with Narcan.

The baby was taken, unresponsive, to a Covington Fire Department house on Sunday night. Media outlets report that police responded and administered CPR and gave the baby the opioid overdose reversal drug.

Police continue to investigate and are uncertain if charges will be filed, saying it may take another few days to determine the events that led to the incident.

The baby is recovering at an unidentified hospital.
