
Two Tennessee residents have been arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop in Ohio County.
On Thursday afternoon, the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 165 north of Hartford. During the stop, deputies located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
Police arrested 38-year-old Pau Lenz, of Crossville, Tennessee, and 35-year-old Virginia Grasty, of Livingston, Tennessee, and charged each with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Lenz was also charged with DUI, driving on a suspended/revoked driver’s license and failure to wear a seat belt.
They were lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center.
Beatty said the Hartford Police Department, Kentucky State Police and Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement assisted at the scene.
