Two people have been injured after a plane crashed while attempting to land at the Vine Grove airport.
The crash occurred at about 6:30 Sunday night. According to the News-Enterprise, the plane clipped a tree as it was landing, causing the plane to stall, plunging it to the ground. A witness told the newspaper that the pilot and a backseat passenger were trapped inside the plane before being freed by first responders.
The names of the two people injured in the crash and the extent of their injuries are not known at this time.
