The Owensboro Police Department is looking for a man who walked away from an assisted living facility.
Police said 70-year-old Joe Welsh was last seen Sunday after walking away from Fern Terrace Assisted Living Facility, on Woodford Avenue, near the Ohio River.
Authorities said Welsh suffers from schizophrenia and delusions. He’s described as a standing 6-foot-2 and weighing 205 pounds. He is bald and has hazel eyes.
Anyone with information on Welsh’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Owensboro PD at 270-687-8888.
