A Madisonville man police say is the major supplier of methamphetamine and heroin in Hopkins County and Montgomery County, Tennessee has been arrested.

Police said the Madisonville-Hopkins County Narcotics Task Force arrested 29-year-old DeKayvious Duvall after investigators seized 22 pounds of methamphetamine, 4.5 pounds of heroin, 681 grams of Ecstasy and a large amount of cash during a raid on Duvall’s home.

The arrest was the result of an investigation into large-scale drug trafficking by the task force, Kentucky State Police, the Clarksville (TN) Police Department and Montgomery County (TN) Sheriff’s Office. The investigation began in January, according to police.

Authorities said the investigation utilized confidential informants to purchase large amounts of methamphetamine from Duvall in Madisonville.

Duvall was charged with three counts of trafficking in a controlled substance and lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center on a $150,000 cash bond. He faces additional trafficking charges in Tennessee.
