
A principal with Clark County Schools has been arrested on child porn charges.
Phillip T. Wilson, 54, has been charged with 15 counts of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and 15 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
Wilson is the principal of the Clark County Area Technology Center, on the Clark County High School campus. The school is operated by the Kentucky Department of Education.
Clark County Public Schools released a statement Wednesday morning, saying the district is “shocked and dismayed” about the arrest.
Wilson previously taught in the Montgomery County and Madison County school districts.
He was lodged to the Clark County Detention Center on a $25,000 cash bond.
